Currently working as a Software Engineering Intern with TechLink's TSEAL team, which develops and maintains software applications supporting federal intellectual property transfer for the Department of Defense and Department of Veteran Affairs.
During my time on the team, I supported the development of two front-end Unit Test suites in Selenium, one in Playwright, and another suite in Python which leveraged GraphQL queries to test the database of a TechLink service. Alongside these major projects, I also developed a Python String builder for the automated creation of GraphQL queries, a tool that validates patent number information from the United States Patent and Trademark office, and a patent ownership extrapolator that tracks patent claims events from the USPTO.
Worked as a part-time member of the custodial team at Grace Bible Church, where I began developing self-management skills. I worked on time-sensitive tasks, ensuring responsibilities were completed daily and weekly, while coordinating with staff to clarify goals, plan for events, and maintain clean and organized facilities for the community.
Started my career jorney working as a front-end team member and cashier at Target and Costco. During my time at Target, I learned how to interact with customers, meeting their needs efficiently while communicating to them about membership plans and promotions. After a few years, I began stepping in for lower-level management on the front end which involved coordinating a team of a dozen or more employees, solving problems at a higher level than a cashier, and ensuring break schedules were met for the team.
At Costco, while not stepping into a management role, I still took part in day-to-day activities as a front-end team member; which involoved communicating to shoppers about their benefits and promotions while working in a fast-paced environment.
